India is the largest democracy in the world and in Delhi the capital there is a street set aside for permanent protests, Parliament Street. People converge daily to make all sorts of grand demands. Amongst the crowds, on this day, three blind men come across an elephant and while the crowds surge and shout their demands the men try to decide what the elephant is. They each experience something different – one thinks it’s a buffalo, another a wall, or is it a camel? The mahout has another point of view…
About the Director
Kanu Behl is lives in Mumbai and has studied extensively in the field of film. He
has obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Direction and Screenplay and
Writing from SRFTI(Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata) India
as well as his Masters in English Literature from Punjabi University, (Patiala)
India.
His first documentary titled ‘An Actor Prepares’, produced by SRFTI was selected in the International Competition Section at the prestigious Cinema du Reel 2007.
He was selected as one of the talents from India at the Berlinale Talent Campus 2007 organized as a part of the Berlin Film Festival.
He also Produced and directed a one-hour film titled ‘Mila Kya?’ commissioned by NHK, Japan. Kanu has been associated with numerous fiction and non-fiction projects as Researcher/Writer/Associate Director, for reputed national channels, over the past 10 years.
He is also the radio Jockey for FM Gold and Rainbow channels, in Delhi and Kolkata, for the last 3 years.
