President of the World

I'd vote for Jimmy Carter. He didn't have such a good record as President of the United States, but since that time he has been living and learning. He's obviously a very compassionate man. As far as I have ever heard, he is truly honest and moral, and yet not prone to judgements. He has begun to speak out recently, after years of quiet retirement. He has observed elections and can praise the good while still highlighting the need for improvements.

But do we really want a President of hte World, or a King of the World? In USA democracy, a President is balanced by a Senate and House, and a Supreme Court. How do we organize, and who fills, THOSE positions?
