Please Vote For Me Premiers in Adelaide and Prague

The World Premiere of Please Vote For Me (2006, China) took place at the recent Adelaide Film Festival. Received enthusiastically by critics, filmmakers and guests, it was voted 4th in the Audience Award Top 10. Filmmaker Weijun Chen said both the festival, and the way the film was received was "amazing".

The film's European Premiere took place a week later at the One World International Human Rights Festival in Prague. Executive Producer Don Edkins attended the screening and declared it "one of his best ever". "The location, the cinema and the beautiful city of Prague added to the occasion, but it was the responses of the audience during the screening that made this a tuly memorable experience. Please Vote For Me is a very special film and it was fantastic to see the reaction" he said.
